This guide will help you (a registered Jhalak Cricket user) to know more in depth details on how to perform some of the major activities that you might use on the portal for the specific role you have signed up for. The manual covers details about an Organizer, Cricket Team Manager and Player.

2.Cricket Organizing Software Guide to Cricket Organizers

Cricket Tournament Organizer or League Manager is the personal interested in conducting/ organizing and managing the Tournament. In order to perform any of activities related to tournament, a user needs to be registered with JHALAK. You can register by using the Sign-up page .

A user needs to fill in all details appropriately on this page, fields marked with asterisk* are mandatory and need to be filled. User must review and “User Agreement, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy” details and click on Submit Button. A message will be displayed saying “Activation link has been sent to your mail”. Log back into your email and look for a mail from JHALAK.com, Click on the Activation link so that the Jhalak account will be activated successfully and you can login with your credentials at http://cricket.jhalak.com/Organizer-Login. Verification through email, helps JHALAK, to identify and restrict fake user. After a successful login, user will be redirect to the organizer profile page.

2.1 CRICKET DASHBOARD FOR TOURNAMENT ORGANIZERS

Dashboard consists of various other features that can help the organizer change/ manage his/ her tournaments. Click on the dashboard to display all the details as About Organizer, List of Tournaments, Committees, Tournament Documents, Invited Teams, Requested to Join Teams, List of Teams Finalized, Grounds/Venues, Pools, Tournament Sponsors, Team Sponsors, Schedules, Results, Man of the Matches, Man of the Series and Tournament Winner.

2.2 CREATE CRICKET TOURNAMENT OR LEAGUE

Create Tournament page helps you to create a new tournament and also update an existing tournaments which is currently in-progress. The same page will also help you add Grounds and Venues for the tournament.
2.2.1 Create Tournament
Here the Organizer needs to provide the Tournament details, such as Tournament Name, Description, Scheduling Type, Format, Overs, Enroll Last Date, No. of Teams, Tournament Start & End Dates, Tournament Logo and Playing Rules (pdf file).

Note: JHALAK Fee will be automatically calculated based on No. of Teams.
After filling in all the necessary details on the tournament creation page, click on “Pay Now” option to pay the JHALAK fee. The page will now be redirect to an Authorized Payment Gateway system PayPal.

Complete all the necessary steps as provided on the screen for a successful payment and once a payment is processed successfully, you will be automatically redirected back to JHALAK. The user will be redirected back to the Cricket Tournament Organizer or League Manager Dashboard page.

Once you can see a tournament created on the Dashboard, you fill be able to further assisted to perform the next activity - Invite Teams. By clicking on Invite Teams page or you can manually click on the option Invite Teams which is under the Teams Menu.

Here user can manually invite the teams by entering Team Name, Short Name, Manager Name and E-Mail ID, then click on Invite Button. Apart from Manual invites, the User can select Teams that are registered with JHALAK in your area. User can invite these teams (existing) found on the right side of the screen, by clicking Invite & Confirm button teams can be added to the list of invited teams. Once all the Teams are selected, a consolidated view of all the teams selected for the Tournament can be viewed at the end of the page.
See below figure: 6 for a view on how the list of teams invited for a tournament looks.

2.2.2 Update Tournament
Here user can update the Tournament details as Format, Overs, Description, Enroll Last Date, and Tournament Start & End Dates. No. of Teams, Logo and Rules.
2.2.3 Add Venue/Grounds
Organizer can add Venues/Grounds by entering the Name, Short Name and Location of Venues, then click on Add button.

There is no restriction on the number of grounds a Organizer can add to the tournament. JHALAK is not going to reserve the grounds added to the Tournament list, as this will be the Organizers responsibility.

Venue will be added and displayed below (if anything to update in Venue details you can click on Edit option and update it again).

2.3 INVITE CRICKET TEAMS

2.3.1 Invite Team
Organizer can invite the Teams manually by entering the Team details or sending invitations by clicking on Invite button for existing Teams.
2.3.2 Joined Teams
When a Cricket Team Manager accepts the invitation on his dashboard, it will be displayed here (Cricket Tournament Organizer or League Managers – Invite Teams page) to finalize the teams that will be participating. Click on Finalize button to include the team into the tournament. The list of finalized teams will be displayed at the bottom of the Invite Teams page.

2.3.3 Players
This page helps list out all the players that are committed to the tournament. An organizer can view the list of players from a specific team by selecting the team name from the list shown on the right hand side of the page.

2.4 CRICKET POOL MANAGEMENT AND SEEDING

Pool Management will be applicable only for Round Robin and Manual Scheduling Types. Both Single and Double elimination scheduling types usually set to are Knock Out format. Our scheduling algorithm will automatically move the winning teams to the next level and the losing team will be dropped from the Knockout Tournament.

In Round Robin and Manual Scheduling types, due to large number of teams participating, it is recommended that the teams be pooled to better manager and organize games. An Organizer can assign minimum of 2 pools and maximum of 4+ pools for a tournament.
2.4.1 Pools Management
In order to better manage more teams in a Round-Robin format, the Organizer can create pools on this page. Once a pool is created, teams can be moved to respective pools both automatically or manually.

Once the pools are filled with teams, the organizer can have a complete view of all teams allotted to a pool.

2.4.2 Assign Seed
Seeding option is available for the Organizer to give priority to teams and while pooling can Buy-In/ Buy-out teams based on various factors / rules as per the tournament.

2.5 CRICKET SCHEDULING SOFTWARE USAGE

After finalizing the Joined Teams, now click on scheduling. If the Tournament type is Manual, go to Manual Scheduler. If not, click on Auto Scheduling option.
2.5.1 Manual Scheduler
Here the Organizer can manually schedule the matches. The list of all scheduled matches will be displayed at bottom of the page.

2.5.2 Auto Scheduler (Cricket Auto scheduling Software)
This option has the capability to automatically schedule the matches based on Teams Count (Number of Teams enrolled/ finalized for a tournament).
It displays and Supports all Three
  • Cricket Round Robin Scheduling

  • Cricket Single Elimination Scheduling

  • Cricket Double Elimination Scheduling

Schedule Types. Select you’re Tournament Type and it will redirect you to the Schedule page. Select the Tournament, Match Level, then check the Teams List and click on Auto Schedule.

After clicking on Auto Schedule, the list of Scheduled matches will be displayed as shown below.

2.5.3 Battle box – Level Management
This option is used to move up the level of matches. Eg: After playing all the League Matches, in order to move the Teams to the Quarter Final, this option is used.
2.5.4 List of Scheduled Matches
In this page the list of scheduled matches will be shown.

If needed, the organizer can edit the Matches by clicking on View/Edit schedule option. Also can delete that particular schedule with Delete Schedule feature. Editing Match Schedules will be for editing dates and venue only. This option is available only for the Cricket Tournament Organizer or League Manager or the Organizing committee appointed by the organizer.

If you choose to click on Send Schedules to Teams & Players option, the schedules will be sent to Teams & Players by E-mail.

Note: All Teams will have a valid email-ID registered with the tournament for future communication.

2.6 CRICKET SCORE ENTRY SOFTWARE IS ENABLED

After scheduling the matches, Organizer/ committee can enter the scores for live matches.

Select the Tournament -> Select the Match Level -> and click on Score Entry button for the particular match. Then it will redirect you to the Toss Decision Page, where you have to provide Toss Winner, Toss Loser, Toss Decision, Umpires, Commentator, Home /Away/Neutral Teams. Click on Submit. It will display Continue for Full Score Entry and Continue for Live Score Entry. Select an option based on the match status.
2.6.1 Full Score Entry
Here the score entry form will be displayed according to Toss Decision you have entered. Starting with 1st Innings batting, Select the Player Name, Wicket Type, C/ST/Player (Catch/Stump), B/Player (Bowler Name), and enter the Balls, Dot Balls, 1’s, 2’s, 3’s, 4’s, 6’s, Wides, Nobes, Byes, Leg Byes only. After entering the scores, click on Calculate button, then the Runs and Strike Rate will be automatically calculated for all the players.

Note: Often try to click on Save button for temporary saving purpose. You can also make changes after clicking on Save.
2.6.2 Fall of Wickets
Select the Player Name, Overs At (Eg: 1.5), Runs At (Innings Score at the time of wicket fall).

After entering all the Scores and Fall of Wickets, Click on Submit button. It displays “Scores Entered Successfully, go to next score entry”. Click on it to enter the bowling entry. Once both the innings scoring is completed, click on Match Summary for an consolidated view of the overall Match statistics.

In Match Summary, select the Match Output Normal/DL/Tie/Abandon/Walk Over, and enter the winning team Scores, Wickets, Overs. The same with Losing Team. Enter Team Points individually. And Select the Man of the Match Team & Player from the list. Finally enter the Match Summary and click on Save.
2.6.3 Live Score Entry
The Organizer can provide the Live Score link to the teams playing the match, to enter live score during the match. The score will be displayed on the Tournament page, the score refresh is usually less than a minute and the page is on auto update/ auto load.

Select the Batting Team > Batsmen > click on Add Batsmen > select the Current Batsmen > Current Bowler > Match over > Runs per Ball/Wicket (if the ball is extra, select extra type i.e, wide, no ball, byes or leg byes) > select the runs for extra > click on Add button.

This will automatically updates the Live Score section in the Tournament Page for every update made during the match. To see the score entered for an over, click on Live Score button and it displays the score entered.

2.6.4 View Full Scorecard
Using this option, you can view the Scores and Results for all the completed matches in the tournament.

2.7 CRICKET TOURNAMENT RESULTS

Tournament Match Results, Points & Ratings, Man of the Match, Man of the Series, Top Batsman, Top Bowlers, and Tournament Winner will be displayed here.
2.7.1 Points & Rating
Select the Tournament from the list and it will display the Team Name, Matches Played and Points Won.

2.7.2 Man of the Match
Select the Tournament from the list and it will display the Player Name, Match, Date and Venue/Ground.

2.7.3 Man of the Series
Select the Tournament from the list and it will display the Player Name, Match, Date and Venue/Ground.
2.7.4 Top Batsmen
Select the Tournament Name from the list, it will display the list of Top Batsmen based on Total Number of Runs scored in the entire tournament.
2.7.5 Top Bowlers
Select the Tournament Name from the list, it will display the list of Top Bowlers based on Total Number of Wickets taken in the entire tournament.
2.7.6 Tournament Winner
After completing the Tournament with all matches scheduled to be played, Man of the Match/Series options can be selected to generate the players and submit the Tournament Winner. From the list Select the Tournament Name & Team, then click on Save.

2.8 SPONSORS - TO MANAGE CRICKET TOURNAMENT SPONSORS

Organizers can add the Tournament Sponsors on this page, Sponsors need to have a Title, Image to be displayed on the tournament page. Sponsors can be of different types like Silver, Gold, Platinum or Title Sponsors.
2.8.1 Add Sponsors
Enter the Sponsor details and click on Create. Once a sponsor is created successfully, the name of the sponsor will be displayed as shown below on the Add Sponsor page. To update the Sponsor information click on Edit in the table as show in figure: 25.Enter the Sponsor details and click on Create. Once a sponsor is created successfully, the name of the sponsor will be displayed as shown below on the Add Sponsor page. To update the Sponsor information click on Edit in the table as show in figure: 25.

2.8.2 Manage Sponsors
Here the Organizer can manage the Sponsors by Tournament or by Teams. Assign the Trophy Sponsors by selecting Tournament Name, Trophy Sponsor Name, and Description then click on Assign Trophy Sponsor. An organizer can delete the sponsor by clicking the delete option.

Media: This provides an option for the Organizer to publish any News or Notifications to all/ one of the Cricket Team Managers, Players (Eg: If the Tournament is Postponed/Cancelled). Once the Organizer posts the News on this page, it will be sent to all the Cricket Team Managers and Players in the associated Tournament through email id).

Write News:An Organizer should first select the Tournament from the list, write the Subject, Summary and click on Publish. An e-mail will be sent to Managers and Players in the Tournament. The notifications can also be broadcasted on the Tournament Page.
2.8.3 Create Photo Album
Here, the Organizers can upload the Tournament Pictures.by selecting the Tournament name from the list, choose a file from your local computer and click on Upload button. Images will be displayed in the Tournament & Photo Gallery page.

2.9 ABOUT COMMITTEE - CRICKET MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

It is the Organizer Profile Page. He can edit/update the information, change the password and add Committee Members.
2.9.1 About Organizer
Here, the Organizers can upload the Tournament Pictures.by selecting the Tournament name from the list, choose a file from your local computer and click on Upload button. Images will be displayed in the Tournament & Photo Gallery page.Update information like Name, Short Name, Logo, Website, Contact Person, Address, Contact Number, and Description. Click on Submit to save changes permanently.
2.9.2 Change Password
Organizer can change the password by entering the Current Password, New Password and Confirm Password. All fields are mandatory in this page. Once the password is changed, we suggest you to login and ensure that the changes are applied.
2.9.3 Committee Members
Enter the Committee Member Name, Position (Eg: Secretary, Manager, etc), Contact Number, Email, Address, Photo, About Member and click on Submit. You can view the list of committee members assigned in the view detail page as shown in figure: 26.

3. CRICKET MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE GUIDE TO Cricket Team ManagerS

Cricket Team Manager is the person/ player who is representing the team and the players. The team mangers primarily communicates with the Cricket Tournament Organizer or League Manager in order to participate in the Tournament. When a Cricket Team Manager gets the Tournament announcement information from the Organizer, he can send a Request to Join the Tournament. When the Organizer finalizes the Team through the Invite Teams page on Cricket Tournament Organizer or League Manager page, a particular Team is in the Tournament enrolled successfully.

A Cricket Team Manager can invite the players to join his Team, also he can also get the Requests to Join the Team from the players. Let us see in detailed these features on JHALAK.

Click on the Cricket Team Manager Icon, then go to Sign up page. Enter all the details requested on the page as all fields are mandatory. Ensure that information provided is correct and make sure you check the box for “User Agreement, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy” and then click on Submit Button.

An Activation link will be sent to your e-mail. From your email, click on the Activation link so that the JHALAK account will be activated and you can login with your credentials at http://cricket.jhalak.com/Manager-Login. After a successful login, it will redirect to the manager profile page.
3.1 INVITED TOURNAMENTS
On this page, a user can see the requests received from a current/ upcoming Tournament, the Cricket Team Manager can review the Tournament page and learn more details about the tournament, Organizer and dates. Cricket Team Manager can accept/ reject to join the Tournament by clicking on Accept/ Reject button.

3.2 REQUEST TO JOIN TOURNAMENTS
On the dashboard the list of current and upcoming Tournaments will be displayed. If the Cricket Team Manager is interested in playing along with this existing team, he can submit a Request to Join Tournament. This Request to Join Tournament will be submitted to the Organizer of the Tournament and can be viewed in Cricket Tournament Organizer or League Managers – Invite Teams page.

3.3 CRICKET PLAYER MANAGEMENT
A Cricket Team Manager can Find, Invite, Add, Request the players and build a Team.

3.3.1 My Players
It displays the list of players already enrolled with the current Team.
3.3.2 Build Team
A Cricket Team Manager can invite Players from the list of players enrolled with JHALAK, by entering details like First Name, Last Name, Short Name and E-mail ID. After entering all the required details, click on Build button, a message will be displayed as Player Invited Successfully.

A Cricket Team Manager can also search the players by location and name and invite to play for the team by clicking on the Invite button.

3.3.3 Joined Players
This page will show a list of all the players who have accepted the invitation request sent by the Cricket Team Manager to join a team.
3.4 TEAM SCHEDULES & RESULTS FOR PLAYING CRICKET TEAMS
Once the schedules are created in the Schedule Page by the Organizer, Cricket Team Managers can login and see the list of matches scheduled for their team within the Tournament. This page provide information like Name, Match, Date, Venue and Round. For more detailed information, click on the Match to display the full scorecard.

3.5 MEDIA
This section allows a Cricket Team Manager to post news and notification to all the Players of his Team. Notifications/ messages are sent in the form of emails to all subscribed team players.

Write News:Write the Subject, Summary and click on Publish. So that E-Mail will be send to Players.
3.6 ABOUT TEAM
It is the Cricket Team Manager Profile update page, where you can edit and update the information like Team Name, Short Name, Team Description, Cricket Team Manager/Captain, Team Logo, Address and click on the Submit button to make the changes.

3.7 CHANGE PASSWORD
Cricket Team Manager can change the password by entering the Current Password, New Password and Confirm Password. All fields are mandatory on this page. We recommend you to login and check if the changes are applied.

3.8 PREVIOUS HISTORY
Here the Manager can enter the old records/scores/tournaments of the Team.
Old Track Record: Here, the Manager can enter the teams Consolidated, Tournament wise, Match wise records. These Records will be displayed in Team Player Details Page.
Team Consolidated Record: All the Team record like Matches Played, Won, Lost, No Result, Tournaments Played, Tournaments Won and Achievements have to be entered manually then click on Submit button.

Team Tournament wise record: Here the Tournament wise past records have to be entered like Tournament Name, Result, Organizer Name, Year, Man of the Series and Achievements.

Team Match wise record: Match wise past scores entered with the fields as Tournament Name, Organizer Name, opponent Team Name, Match Level, Date, Result, Man of the Match and click on Submit.

Old Match Score Entry: Previous Matches Full Score Entry can be entered here. Manager can add the complete match details as Scores, Result, Man of the Match and Match Summary. All the data should be entered manually.

3.9 CRICKET DASHBOARD FOR TEAM MANAGERS
Dashboard gives you a consolidated view of features in the Cricket Team Manager login, you can see a List of Tournaments, About Cricket Team Manager, Requested to Join, My Accepts, Invitations, Approved, Scheduled Matches and Players List information.
4.0 PLAYERS - CRICKET PLAYER MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE SYSTEM
Player’s page is your personal page to track your information, match statistics and stay connected to the cricketing world. Providing access to Tournaments, Teams and many others. A play can see ongoing / upcoming tournaments in a selected location or state. Send invitation to the Cricket Tournament Organizer or League Manager or Cricket Team Manager. JHALAK maintains history of an individual player for almost 5 Years. It also provides a platform for the players to send request to join teams.

A Player has to sign up on the JHALAK portal and create an active account.

Enter all necessary details like First Name, Last Name, Email Id, Short Name, Date of Birth, Select the Playing role (as Captain, Vice Captain, Player, Wicket Keeper, etc), Select the Batting Style, Bowling Style, Enter Contact Number, Address, Description, Upload a Photo, Give Password and Confirm the Password. Provide all the fields correctly and check the box for “User Agreement, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy” and then click on Submit Button. Once the request is posted successfully, an activation link will be sent to the email id provided during registration process.

Users must check there email and click on the Activation link provided, so that the Jhalak account creation process is completed. It is recommended that you login with your credentials at http://cricket.jhalak.com/Player-Login. to ensure all credentials are working. Upon successful login user will be redirect to the Player Dashboard page.
4.1 CRICKET PLAYER DASHBOARD
This page shows a Players details like Name of the Player, Image, About Player Info, Team’s Request, Request to Join Teams, Approved Requests, Overall Bowling Statistics, Overall Batting Statistics, Player Batting Statistics and Player Bowling Statistics.
4.1.1 Request to Join Team
The Player can Request the Team to join from the list of displayed Teams by clicking on Request button.

4.1.2 Approved Requests
If the Cricket Team Manager Accepts the Request made by the Player, then it is displayed in the list here with the Team Name and Cricket Team Manager.

4.1.3 Overall Bowling Statistics
This page provides a complete Bowling statistics of a player career will be displayed as Total Innings, Total Overs, Total Maiden Overs, Total Wickets, Runs Given and Economy.

4.1.4 Overall Batting Statistics
This page provides a complete Batting statistics of a player career will be displayed as Total Innings, Total Fours, Total Sixes, Total Runs and Strike Rate.

4.1.5 Player Batting Statistics
This page displays a detailed Batting statistics of a player by Tournament, as shown in the figure: 48 details of Tournament Name, Team Name, Match, Out Description, Catch/Stump, Bowler Name, Runs, Balls, Fours, Sixes and Strike Rate.

These statistics are visible at the Cricket Team Manager dashboard, which can help during selection process of Build a team.

4.1.6 Player Bowling Statistics
This page displays a detailed Bowling statistics of a player by Tournament, as shown in the figure: 49 details of Tournament Name, Team Name, Match, Overs, Maidens, Runs, Wickets, Nobes, Wides and Economy Rate.

These statistics are visible at the Cricket Team Manager dashboard, which can help during selection process of Build a team.

4.2 MY ACCOUNT
A Player can update the profile and change the password using this page.
4.2.1 Update Profile
Except the Email ID, player can edit/update all the details like First Name, Last Name, Email Id, Short Name, Date of Birth, Select the Playing role (as Captain, Vice Captain, Player, Wicket Keeper, etc), Select the Batting Style, Bowling Style, Enter Contact Number, Address, Description, Change/Upload the Image and Click on Update button.
4.2.2 Change Password
